Custom bar light built from an antique horse-wagon frame
The project
A Bolton bar called for a one-of-a-kind light fixture. Starting from a repurposed antique horse-wagon component, we designed and built a custom suspended fixture that fits the rustic space and actually works as the centerpiece of the room.
Scope
- Custom fixture built from a repurposed antique horse-wagon frame
- Suspended on chain with twine-wrapped light cords
- Integrated vintage oil lamp and illuminated Mason-jar pendants
- Wired, mounted, and finished as a working light over the bar
How we approached it
We laid out and fabricated the fixture from the original materials, wired the pendants and lamp safely, and hung and balanced the finished piece on chain so it reads as a single, intentional centerpiece.
Result
A warm, rustic, truly one-of-a-kind bar light that keeps the character of the original materials while lighting the bar below.
