Lighting, emergency systems, and unit electrical for the Hudson Housing Authority
The project
The Hudson Housing Authority manages occupied residential buildings where lighting, power, and life-safety systems have to keep working while residents are living in them. The work had to be done with minimal disruption and attention to egress and code.
Scope
- Exterior wall-mounted fixture upgrades
- Battery cabinet upgrades
- Remote emergency lighting heads for egress
- Troubleshooting lighting and power issues in individual units
How we approached it
We scheduled and carried out the work around residents and building operations, coordinated with the Authority's staff, and kept egress and life-safety systems in order.
Result
Updated exterior lighting, current emergency and egress systems, and resolved power and lighting issues in occupied units.
